Another word for brave pilot2/20/2023 ![]() ![]() I'm glad he didn't just panic and cause more harm than good. He said when he realized they were in trouble that he started reading the instructions on how to open the door. I saw an interview with the man that helped open the emergency door. I have to add that I think it's a perfect of example of the right people, at the right place, at the right time, for the right job. What a wonderful happy ending! I know nothing can replace the horror they witnessed on 9/11, but maybe this is at least a positive sight they will always remember as well. Nice job my friend, nice job indeed.Īs the wife of salesman that is in the air more than he is on the ground, you really cheer (and sigh with relief) when you hear something like this!Īnd, I think it was a nice message for the people of New York City to see a plane in trouble, and it's crew and passengers, to land safely. May God welcome you into his arms forever Sully, for no one is more deserving than you. Tell your family members and riends of this man so they can tell others. Thankfully from all the surivors that "thing" was compassion for his fellow man and a dedication to their well being and safety. While others searched to find things in people to dislike he had only what he was born with knowing it would never diappear. ![]() When other people were out having fun he was at home studying how to better himself in his work to be a better pilot. All of these people today are just as alive as they were before the plane took off only becuase of one man's dedication to his fellow man. ![]() The people he saved were mommies, daddies, grandmas, grandpas, aunts, uncles, daughters, sons, nieces, nephews, friends, grand daughters and grandsons. All he did yesterday was guide a US Airways airplane with 150 passengers and a full crew and a very full tank of aviation fuel to a life saving, safe belly landing on water. Any and all formats/websites are a good place for a "thank you" to someone that truely deserves it. ![]()
